It demonstrates how Schlosser updates the treatise by referring to the poetic canon of \u203aSturm und Drang\u2039 and presents \u03a0\u03b5\u03c1\u1f76 \u1f5d\u03c8\u03bf\u03c5\u03c2 as a manifesto of the young generation of poets, to which Schlosser gives a classic aura. Against the aesthetic of rules, Schlosser dissociates the sublime from the rhetoric and turns it into a psychological dimension while benefitting from the discussion led throughout Europe on the idea of energy. Although all three authors try to reduce military violence by appealing to enlightened reason, the works do not contain any fundamental arguments against war itself. Instead, it must be noted that reason itself is transformed into a tactical intelligence that can only measure the use of force against efficiency criteria. \/ On consid\u00e8re souvent les Lumi\u00e8res comme un domaine entretenant des liens \u00e9troits avec le pacifisme.
